A mini sunday adventure!

My brother is here now yay!!!
He's here for a week before we leave :( so our days are packed! Today we went to my friends church, which I love, and will probably be my church here, and went out for lunch with a bunch of friends from the church! I introduced my brother to some typical bolivian food, which he was quite pleased with! we also took most of the girls to the park, and for popsicles! this time we met some parrots on the way and they were hilarious!!! They kept mimicking our laugh, the girls loved it! of course we passed lots of cows and sheep too! and played lots of tag in the park.

Girls night!!

Sleepover!!
A few weeks ago, we had a sleepover with the girls downstairs! they always want to bring their mattress downstairs, eat lots of food including popcorn, watch lots of movies, have a dance party to one direction and justin bieber and we played a game kinda like pin the tail on the donkey except we had lipstick and they had to try and kiss the guy on the poster blind folded! It was a lot of fun!

Not the most flattering picture haha

Fathers day in Bolivia

Happy fathers day from Bolivia! Felicidades papas!

Today we accompanied all the kids to their classes to celebrate fathers day. we were their fathers for the day!! I was Edgar's papa today! We ate lots and lots of food, coca cola, a bolivian favourite and watched some dances. After school later on in the afternoon I got them to trace their feet and write their names on the paper as well as draw themselves and explained that they do have a father and thats the greatest blessing. They are adopted daughters of God. He has adopted them into his family because he sent his son to die for our sins so we can be free and become a part of God's family. I had kinda had it in my mind for awhile that I wanted to do this lesson with them because it's especially important for these kids to know that just because they don't have a earthly father doesn't mean they don't have family and are treasured and loved by God. He has adopted them. It worked out perfectly that today was fathers day!

We love coca cola!!

 the delicious lunch!!

kinda blurry but Edgar's classmates!

Working on their adopted daughters of God project

 All done :D

A day with A

I spent most of sunday with A. She is such a joyful little girl and finds everything funny, in that way reminds me a little bit of my self. She is so sweet and affectionate and loves helping with anything! I will often find her following me around the house because she always wants to know whats going on and be a part of it! She's going to a special school for her learning disabilities, because she has a hard time remembering stuff she learned and a few other things so she's a bit behind. Lots of prayer for her schooling!! We spent sunday at my church along with a lot of baby house kids! A loves the babies though :)

On our way to church! She also makes the most hilarious faces

Everyone!!

So attractive :P, empanadas for lunch!

 PArk fun!

Then we had ice cream

Sibling outing!

A few weeks ago Linnea and I discovered a skating rink in the city! What we didn't realize was that it was synthetic ice. As Canadians we were pretty judgemental of it because it wasn't ice, so it wasn't quite the same as normal, but we still really enjoyed ourselves and A and E loved it! We decided it would be nice that they hung out together as siblings, since they never really get a chance to do that and especially alone because there at different houses now. It was a really fun afternoon, belting to songs way out of tune, having races across the rink, and having Ice cream after!
Teaching A how to skate!

O's full day of birthday festivities!

Happy day of birth poookee bear! Love you my little munchkin!!

Yesterday O turned four! She's such a big girl now. We celebrated by first having a sleepover the night before in my room so she could wake up in the morning in my bed! She had been asking forever to sleep in my bed so I said she finally could on her birthday! I am so blessed by her life and thank God for bringing her life into mine, she is such a sweet, cuddly, giggly and joyful little girl!

As soon as we woke up in the morning and gave her a friendly birthday tackle she decided that she wanted her nails painted and her lips painted, so off we went to work!

Later on before she headed to school in the afternoon I took her out for lunch! She ordered chicken and as she says "fafa fritas" and I ordered ice cream, then we shared!

After school we celebrated with all the girls at the house with cake, presents and a pinata!

 Oreos!!

A day with B

Yesterday was B's turn to spend some much needed quality time! This little girl has always been in my heart since my first time here two years ago. I was laying with her in her bed at bedtime, because I always sing and pray with them before bed but this time I just laid there and listened to her talk. It was such a sweet moment. She was saying a lot, but one thing that stuck out to me was that she was saying how much she loved me, and I told her that I was thinking about her the whole time I was gone. She then preceded to ask me who I loved the most out of the girls and I told her that I loved them all equally because God loves them all so much. But I did say she always had a special place in my heart. It just broke my heart because she was looking for me to say that I loved her the most. She wanted to feel special. But what she doesn't realize is how special she is in God's eyes and I am praying that she will realize that in her heart. "You are precious and honoured in my sight and I love you." Isaiah 43:4

Giggles before church

After church we went out to eat, and ice cream! Linnea and Benito joined us too. Please keep praying for B as she continues to grow and that her behavioural issues will improve as well as her school and that she will find the motivation to learn. This little girl thrives on attention, and it's been my mission to show her God's positive love and attention rather than negative attention, where she finds herself a lot. I love her so much and she's great when I have the time to give her that attention.

we also managed to get stuck in the mud and then we found some cars in the grocery store!
